Story / Background :: Salem never liked other people. In all his life, he never had any friends. At 12, he began gambling. He wasn't too good at it at first, but soon he he became successful and made millions. His love for gambling kept him going, and soon he became a businessman and started buying property, or just taking it for himself.

Personality :: Dark, merciless, excellent strategist

Hobbies :: master gambler, excellent with weapons

Strength(s) :: Gambling, has tiny, yet extremely powerful magnets in his gloves, that will allow him to draw in almost any kind of metallic object at his will, high jumper, stealthy, physically powerful, which means he can throw hard punches, kicks, throws, etc., good strategist, keeps his cool in tough situations (most of the time ;) )

Weakness(es) :: Aerial combat, which is basically fighting in the air. He can't fly, and he really doesn't prefer helicopters. However, he can shoot things in the air if he's got a projectile weapon. Also doesn't have a lot of speed, but makes up for it with his physical strength and stealth. Salem, though his enemy, occasionally helps out Sonic and his friends with fighting whom they both see as enemies.
